Peacefully at home.  Dearly beloved wife of the late Professor James (Jim), loving mother of Martina (Mannion), Aonghus and Clíodhna, adored grandmother of Aoife, Niall, Ríona, Orla, Caoimhe and Síomha, and dear sister of the late Sally, Anne and Richard.

Sadly missed by her daughters and son, son-in-law Niall, daughter-in-law Nicola (de Faoite), cherished grandchildren, nieces and nephews, relatives and a wide circle of friends.

Following Mass Freda will be laid to rest alongside her beloved Jim in Rahoon cemetery.

Route to the Church  The funeral cortège will leave from Freda’s home in Ardmore, Taylor’s Hill at 10.30 a.m. turning left onto Threadneedle Road and along the prom.  All funeral arrangements will take place in accordance with current Government guidelines and the attendance at the Church has increased to 50 people.
