Freddie Bourton

Freddie Bourton, late of Moorehall, Ardee, formerly of Slane and his hometown Dundalk, passed away peacefully on 4th October 2024, surrounded by his family in the care of Sunhill Nursing Home, Termonfeckin.

Predeceased by his parents, Lenny and Josie, his brothers Joe, David and Gerard. Cherished brother of Leon (McCarthy), Patsy (Stewart), Joan (Ni Dhíomasaigh), Peggy (Connolly), Francis (Burns) and Kitty O’Donoghue.

Freddie will be sadly missed by his adoring daughters Lara, Anita, Audrey and Michelle and their mother Ann, as well as his sons-in-law Liam, Tony, Louis, Nigel & Jeremy. He will be greatly missed by his grandchildren Peter, Laura, Shane, Sonnie, Rhea, Pierce, Luke, Jorja, Grace, Cole, Finn, Louis & Josie, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at 41 The Village, Moorehall, Ardee, A92 E9K6 on Saturday (5th) from 3:00pm to 6:00pm & on Sunday (6th) from 3:00pm to 6:00pm. House Private at all other times please. Funeral Mass to be celebrated on Monday, the 7th October, at 1pm in the Church of the Nativity of Our Lady, Ardee followed by burial at Ballapousta Graveyard. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to the Irish Heart Foundation.
