The death has occurred of
Freddie Dowling
Dowling (Presentation Road, Gurranabraher, Cork), on May 19th 2025, peacefully in the presence of his loving family at The Mercy University Hospital; Freddie (ex GB Metals), beloved husband of the late Margaret O’ Riordan-Dowling (née Goulding) and much loved father of Catherine, Liam, Geraldine, Caroline, Edward, John and the late Lillian and Deirdre and dearest brother of the late Carmel. Sadly missed by his heartbroken daughters, sons, brothers Michael and Jim, sisters Maeve and Dolores, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Visitation at O’ Connor Bros. Funeral Home, North Gate Bridge on Wednesday May 21st from 6.00pm to 7.00pm, with prayers at 6.45pm. Requiem Mass in The Church of The Ascension, Gurranabraher on Thursday May 22nd at 11.00am. Funeral afterwards to St. Catherine’s Cemetery, Kilcully.
