Frederick Jude Marden

The death has occurred of Frederick Jude  Marden (better known as Fred), Kilgarriff, Charlestown and late of St. Bridget’s Crescent, Castlebar and the  UK unexpectedly at Mayo University Hospital. 

Only son of the late Frederick John Marden  and  the late Philomena Josephine Marden (nee Mee).

He will be greatly missed by his uncles, aunts,  cousins, relatives, all the family circle, work colleagues and many friends.

Fred was well known in the broadcasting world for his great love of radio.

Removal will take place  from Kilcoyne’s Funeral Home,  Thomas Street,  Castlebar , on Saturday 13th  at 12.30pm to the Church of the Holy Rosary, Castlebar  arriving for Funeral Mass at 1pm followed by burial in Castlebar New Cemetery where Fred will be laid to rest with his beloved parents.
