Freida Hoare (Née Kane), Townspark, Athy, Co. Kildare, passed away on 29th November, 2025, peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her husband John, parents Joe and May Kane, sister Nancy, brother-in-law Séan and mother-in-law Maggie Hoare.

Freida will be sadly missed by her loving daughter May and her loving son Noel, granddaughters Alanna and Leah, great-grandson Jayden, sons-in-law Ger and Kevin, her nephews and nieces Pat, Paul, Sandra, Michelle, Marie, Mag, Freida, Joseph, John, Eddie, Gerry and Pascal, her devoted friends Matt, Mary, Corky, Margaret and Nelly, extended family and neighbours.

 

 

May Freida Rest in Peace.

 

 

Freida will repose in Thompson’s Funeral Home, Chapel Hill, Mount Hawkins, Athy (R14 NX80) on Friday 5th December 2025 from 5pm until the conclusion of Prayers at 7pm.

Removal from Thompson’s Funeral Home on Saturday morning at 10.45am to St. Michael’s Parish Church, Athy for Requiem Mass at 11am. Followed by burial after in St. Michael’s (New) Cemetery.
