The death has occurred of Fridoline (Frid) Whelan (nee Sweetman) formerly of Curragheen North, Askeaton, Co Limerick.

Fridoline passed away peacefully on 30th March, 2025 in the loving care of Abbot Close Nursing Home. Predeceased by her beloved husband Bill, brothers Brendan and Adrian, sisters Moira and Harriet, sisters in law and brothers in law.

Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her daughters Marie, Annette and Audrey, sons Liam, Martin, John and Brian, daughters in law, Caroline, Liz, Caitriona and Yvonne, sons in law Garry, David and Larry, grandchildren Michelle, Eoin, Eleanor, Shane, Ciara, Áine, Will, Patrick and Eric, great grandchildren Nicole, Alex, Billie and Nancy, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Reposing at Kieran Madigan's Funeral Home, Main Street, Askeaton V94 K598 this Tuesday evening from 5pm. Removal at 7pm to St Mary's Church Askeaton. Requiem Mass on Wednesday at 11am.
