The death has occurred of
Gabriel (Gay) Silke
(formerly of Banba Hotel, Salthill and William Street West, Galway)
Gabriel died peacefully at Moycullen Nursing Home on Tuesday 7 February 2023 with his loving family by his side.
Predeceased by his brothers Seán and Brian.
Cherished husband of Muriel and much loved father of Paul, Mark, David, Judy (Buckley), Ronan and Kitty (Smith).
Mourned and sadly missed by his wife, children and grandchildren, brothers Donald, Liam and Leonard, sons-in-law David and Richard, daughters-in-law Sinead, Jean, Dearbhla and Caroline, the extended Silke and O'Connell family, neighbours and many friends.
Rest in peace
Reposing at his home 58 Rockbarton Park, Salthill (H91 K70A) on Friday 10 February from 3.30 p.m. with Removal at 6.00 p.m. to Christ the King Church, Salthill.
Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Gabriel on Saturday 11 February at 12 noon and following Mass he will be laid to rest in Rahoon cemetery.
