The death has occurred of
Gabriel (Gay) Woods
Woods Gabriel (Gay) (Clonshaugh, Dublin 17 and formerly of Portobello), August 18th 2025, peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, in the care of all the wonderful staff at St. Francis Hospice, Raheny and previously in the care of the staff on AB Cleary Ward in Beaumont Hospital. Beloved husband of Marie and loving father to Susan, June, Paula, Niall and Marion. Sadly missed by his family, daughter-in-law Denise, sons-in-law Jimmy, Mohammad, John and Daniel, grandchildren Lyndsey and her husband Dean, Keith and his wife Megan, Ryan, Kyle, Dillon, Evan, Emma, Yousif, Hana, Suad, Oliver and Ellie, great-grandchildren Ella, Lily, Sadie and Cruz, sisters Joan and Olivia, brothers-in-law Jimmy and Richard, sister-in-law Phyllis, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and neighbours.

Reposing at his home on Wednesday 20th August from 6pm to 8pm. Removal on Thursday morning 21st August to St. Francis of Assisi Church, Priorswood arriving for Funeral Mass at 10am, followed by Cremation in Dardistown Crematorium. Family flowers only please, memorial contributions may be made to St. Francis Hospice in lieu of flowers
