Ganiyu Ishola Bamidele

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Ganiyu Ishola Bamidele, who lived in Mahon, Cork. Ganiyu passed away peacefully in Cork University Hospital on 6th April, 2026.

 

Ganiyu was a loving husband, devoted father, and a truly gentle and peaceful man who touched the lives of everyone who knew him. His kindness, calm spirit, and caring nature will always be remembered by family, friends, and the community.

 

He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his beloved wife Esther and his cherished sons David, Joseph, Samuel and Yinka, along with extended family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

 

Reposing at the Temple Hill Funeral Home, Boreenmanna Road of Jerh O’Connor Ltd; on Monday (April 13th) from 2.30pm to 3.30pm.

 

A Service of Song will take place for Ganiyu on Monday (April 13th) from 5.00pm to 8.00pm at Nemo Rangers GAA Club, Mount Vernon Crescent, Ballinlough, Cork T12 R2P2.

 

 

Burial will take place at 10.00am on Tuesday (April 14th) in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Blackrock.
