Gareth Rhys JONES

Jones, Gareth Rhys (Swords & formerly of Cowbridge, Wales) - January 9th, 2021 (peacefully) in the arms of his wife and surrounded by his family. Deeply loved and missed by his wife Evelyn, children Bethan, Huw, Owen, Colm and Megan, son-in-law David, Huw and Owen's partners Emma and Orla, grandchildren Freya, Sophie and Harri, brother Alan, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, parents-in-law Eileen and Owen and his wide circle of friends. Gareth will be greatly missed by his former friends and colleagues at Bon Secours Hospital, Glasnevin, his friends at Swords Celtic F.C., 3rd Curve and the board of Childvision.

Sincere thanks to all at Beaumont Hospital for the care Gareth received. 

Due to government advice regarding public gatherings a private family funeral will take place on Wednesday (13th Jan.) The funeral service will be streamed live from 2pm. The funeral cortège will pass the family home in Glen Ellan at approximately 1.15 p.m., Applewood Village at 1.20 p.m. and Swords Celtic at 1.25 p.m. en route to the church. En route to the crematorium the cortège will pass the Bon Secours Hospital at approximately 3.15pm. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to Childvision.
