Garry Anthony MEARES

The death has occurred on Monday, February 22nd of Garry Anthony Meares (former private, Defence Forces), Rosewood Cottage, Coole, Co. Westmeath and late of Ballyfermot, Co. Dublin; peacefully, at his residence, in the loving care of his family. Predeceased by his parents, mother Mona, Margaret and father Paddy, and sister Carol. Sadly missed by his wife Joan, daughters Lynda and Sophie, sons Keith and Adam, son-in-law Ian, grandchildren Colton, Emilia and Noah, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Leaving his home in Coole at 11.40am on Thursday, February 25th, arriving at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Coole for 12 noon Funeral Mass, and afterwards to the Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan, arriving at 2.15pm for final prayers. Family flowers only please; donations, if desired, to the Alzheimer Society of Ireland and SSAFA-Forces Help, c/o Cassidys Funeral Directors, Castlepollard.
