Gary Higgins

It is with deep sadness that Gary's family announce his death, suddenly and unexpectedly on Sunday, July 6, 2025. Deeply mourned and forever missed by his heartbroken family; Jack, Mikey, Gary, Ellen, David and Laura, his brothers Peter, Padraig and Micheál, sisters Carmel, Breegeann, Jacinta, Edel and Maura. Sadly missed and fondly remembered also by his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, aunts and uncles, cousins, all of the extended Higgins and Connell families, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements

Wednesday 9 July 2025 Reposing at 'Sioraiocht' within the grounds of the Church of the Assumption and St. James, Claregalway (H91 XH02) from 5 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. with Removal to the Church.

Thursday 10 July 2025 Requiem Mass for Gary will take place at 11 a.m. Following Mass, he will be laid to rest in Terryland cemetery, Castlelawn. House private please. Family flowers only.

Donations, in Gary's memory if desired, may be made to Down Syndrome Ireland.
