The death has occurred of
Gay BYRNE
BYRNE Gay (Broadcaster, late of RTE and Sandymount, formerly of Howth and Rialto) 4 November, 2019. Peacefully, at home in Howth. Beloved husband and best friend to his devoted Kathleen, loving father to Crona and Suzy, adored grandad to Cian, Sadhbh, Kate, Saoirse and Harry, father-in-law to Ronan and Philip and brother of Mary and the late Ray, Ernest and Al. Sadly missed by his family, relatives, neighbours, former work colleagues and a wide circle of friends.
Departing on Friday, 8 November 2019, through Howth, at 11.00am arriving for Requiem Mass at 12.00pm at St. Mary’s Pro-Cathedral, Marlborough Street, followed by a private burial in St. Fintan’s Cemetery, Sutton.
