Gearóid Fitzgerald

Peace Commissioner. Formerly of Ballyluskey, Ballydavid, Tralee, Co Kerry.  Under outstanding care in Marymount Hospice, Cork, after a short illness.  Pre-deceased by his sister Helen Purcell (nee Fitzgerald), Kerry and Kilkenny.  Deeply regretted by his loving wife Mary Agnes (nee Carney), his daughters Siobhán, Mairéad, Doireann and Finola, son-in-law Joseph Greene, grandson Boone Greene, Mairéad’s fiancé Seán King, his brothers Tom and Martin (Dublin) and Páidí and Jeaicí (Kerry), his sisters Joan Finn (Mitchelstown) and Mary Candy (Carlow), his sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, friends and neighbours.

Rest in Peace

Reposing at Condons’ Funeral Parlour, Dillon Street, Clonmel on Friday, 28th February, from 4pm, arriving at St Mary’s Church, Gambonsfield, Kilsheelan at 7.30pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday, 1st March, at 12.30pm followed immediately by private cremation at The Island Crematorium, Cork. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to Marymount Hospice, Cork or Brú Columbanus, Cardinal Way, Wilton, Cork.
