Gene (Eugene) Mulvany

The death has occurred of Gene (Eugene) Mulvany O’Growney Tce., Kells Co. Meath. Peacefully following a short illness in the loving care of his family at his residence. 1st August 2023.

 

Gene was predeceased by his parents Eugene and Julia, brothers Liam, John and sister Ann and is survived by his loving wife Irene, daughter Lorna, sons Eoin, Kevin and Anthony His brother Dessie, sisters Marie and Sheila, sons-in-law Kevin and Jody, daughter-in-law Carol Grandchildren Heather, Ethan, Maya, and Liam, nephews, nieces, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law family and friends.

 

Gene will repose at Mc Entee’s Funeral Home, New Market St., Kells (A82 K0D7) Wednesday, 2nd August, from 4pm to 7pm. Removal from his residence on Thursday morning at 10.30am to arrive at St. Colmcille’s Church for Funeral Mass at 11 am which can be viewed on kellsparish.ie followed by burial in St. Colmcille’s Cemetery.

Gene will be fondly remembered as a loving and caring husband, father, brother and grandfather and friend to many, who lived his life as a very private gentleman with a very strong faith and gave a life long service of membership to the Kells Silver Band.

 

Gene’s gentle presence will be greatly missed by his family, friends and extended family.
