Cassidy, (née O’Sullivan) Gene (Maureen Eugenie) Ballyedmonduff, Stepaside, Dublin 18 and The Glen (St Finian’s Bay), Ballinskelligs, Co. Kerry (formerly of Oakpark, Tralee). 15th April 2023. Peacefully, after a short illness, in the loving care of her family and the staff at Cork University Hospital. Darling wife of the late Dr Ciarán Cassidy and adoring mother of Ciara, Rose, John (Fran), Eugene, Everina, Ciarán and Lisa. Much loved mother-in-law to Scott, Stephen, Emer, Evelyn, Jonathan, Clair and John. Treasured and beloved grandmother of her 19 grandchildren - Matthew, Aidan, Aoibh, Lexi, Grace, Aisling, Clíona, Michael, Laura, Isabelle, Ella, Eoghan, Dara, Harry, Darcey, Louis, Lizzie, Jennifer and Julia Rose. So sadly missed by her extended family, including her dear cousins, many nieces, nephews and also by her wide circle of friends.

Reposing at her family home in Stepaside on Monday (17th April) from 5pm to 7pm. Funeral Mass on Tuesday (18th April) at 11am in the Church of the Sacred Heart, Donnybroook followed by burial at St. Patrick’s Church Cemetery, Glencullen.
