Gene O'Neill

O’NEILL (Oldcourt, Baltimore, Skibbereen): on December 10th 2024, peacefully, after a long illness in the presence of his loving family. GENE beloved husband of the late Maryann (née O'Driscoll), loving father of Maeve, Siobhan, Hugh, Maura, Rory and the late Claire, brother of the late John. Sadly missed by his children, daughters-in-law Alison and Gillian, sons-in-law Niall, Laurie and Islam, all of his 12 adoring grandchildren, sisters Patricia (O' Driscoll), Deirdre (McCarthy) and Sue (Keenan), brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, friends and neighbours.

Reposing in Hurley & O’Sullivan’s Funeral Home, Skibbereen on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 5pm to 7pm followed by Prayers. Requiem Mass on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 12 noon in the Sacred Heart Church, Rath. This will be livestreamed here. Burial afterwards in Tullagh Cemetery, Baltimore.
