Peacefully on Friday 9th February 2024 in Portiuncula Hospital Ballinasloe surrounded by her loving family after a long illness borne with dignity. Predeceased by her parents Bill and Annie, sisters Elizabeth (Betty), and Carmel, and brothers Patrick (Paddy) and James and also her life long friend Eamon Glesson (Bealnamulla). Genevieve will be greatly missed and remembered with love by her brothers TJ (Tubberclair), Willie (Clane), Oliver (Ballydowd, Lucan), sisters-in-law, Ann, Mary, Rose and Catherine, brother-in-law Richard, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at her niece’s (Alacoque O Connor) family home at Kilkenny West, Glasson, Athlone (N37VW60), on Saturday (10th February) from 3pm to 7pm. Arriving at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Tubberclair on Sunday (11th February) at 10-45am followed by Mass of the Resurrection at 11am. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
