George died peacefully on the 23rd October 2025 in the exceptional care of the Staff of Oakfield Nursing Home Courtown surrounded by his loving family.

Pre-deceased by his Parents. Beloved husband of Kathleen and father of Carol and Ann, brother of Don, Malcolm, Jean, Patricia, Laurie and the late Shirley and Helen. Will be very sadly missed by his wife, daughters, brothers, sisters, grandchildren Cormac, Darragh, Niall, Deirbhile, Laura and Ciaran, his 6 great-grandchildren, sons-in-law, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Murphy's Funeral Home, The Avenue, Gorey (Y25K122) on Sunday 26th October from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Removal from Murphy's Funeral Home on Monday 27th October at 11.30 a.m. to St. Michael's Church, Gorey for Funeral Mass at 12 noon. For those who cannot attend the Mass can be viewed on the following link https://www.stmichaelsgorey.ie/onlinemass In accordance with George's wishes there will be a Private Cremation in the Victorian Chapel, Mount Jerome Crematorium.
