George Balfe

BALFE, George (Dún Laoghaire, Co. Dublin), 11th December 2025. Peacefully in the kind care of the staff of St. Vincent's Private Hospital, surrounded by the love of his family. Pre-deceased by his beloved wife, Brigid, George will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his cherished children Jocelyn, Nicola, Daryl, Cillian, Evelyn and Simon; his daughters-in-law Wendy, Amanda and Ciara; Nicola’s partner Dave; his grandchildren Ben, Rebecca, George, Henry, Daniel, Annabelle, Rose, Noah, Margot and Ruby; his extended family and many friends.

George will be reposing on Monday (15th December) from 5pm to 7pm in Fanagans Carnegies Funeral Home, Monkstown, A94XK28. Funeral Mass on Tuesday (16th December) at 10am in St. Patrick’s Church, Monkstown followed by burial in Shanganagh Cemetery.
