GEORGE BALLARD

Ballard (Montenotte, Cork.) On 8th October 2023, peacefully in the presence of his loving family and under the excellent care of St Claire’s Ward, St Finbarr’s Hospital. GEORGE, Peace Commissioner (late of George C. Ballard (Motor Assessors) Ltd). Dearly beloved husband of Marie (née Fayer), loving father to Yvonne (Walsh), Stephen and Keith.

 

Deeply mourned by his loving wife, daughter, sons, and his adored grandchildren Chloe, Tia, Scott, Juliet and Bobby. Sister Mary O’Callaghan, son-in-Law Brendan Walsh, daughters-in-law Caroline Cotter and Caroline Ballard, brothers-in-Law, sister-in-Law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends. Predeceased by his brothers Liam and Freddy and his sister Evelyn.

 

Rest in Peace

 

Lying in repose in Keohane’s Funeral Home, Knights Hill, Old Youghal Rd, Mayfield, on Tuesday, 10th October 2023, from 5.00pm with prayers at 6.00pm. Reception into St. Joseph’s Church, Mayfield on Wednesday, 11th October 2023, for Requiem Mass at 11.00am followed by burial in St. Catherine's Cemetery, Kilcully.
