George Bannister

Late of Customs and Revenue. Peacefully, after an illness bravely borne, surrounded by his loving family in the kind and gentle care of the staff of Louth County Hospital.

Predeceased by his parents, Elizabeth (Bessie) and Stanley. George will be forever loved and sadly missed by his cherished daughter Jennifer, granddaughter Michaela, sister's Helen & Karen, brother-in-law Bill, niece Rachel and nephew Aaron, his dear friends Paula, Tracey and Eddie, relatives, wonderful neighbours, and a wide circle of friends.

George will repose at Dixons Funeral Home, Maxwell Row, Bridge Street, Dundalk (Eircode A91 PV07) on Friday from 4:00pm to 7:00pm, for family and friends to call. Removal on Saturday morning at 10:30am, arriving at the Holy Family Church for 11:00 o'clock Funeral Liturgy, followed by cremation at 1 o'clock in Dardistown Crematorium.
