Passed away peacefully on Friday 9th May 2025 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his parents George and Kitty, brother Gerard, sisters Christine Coburn and Josephine Wiseman.

George will be sadly missed and remembered by his loving wife Elvira, his sons and daughters Georgina, Robert, Kate, Edward and James, brother Brian, sister Mary Mc Connon, sons-in-law David and Eugene, daughter-in-law Aislinn, his adored grandchildren Jack, Annie, Charlie, Nancy, Lily, Paddy, Sofía and Lauryn, brothers and sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Shevlin's Funeral Home, Barrack Street (A91Y3CX) on Sunday afternoon from 1pm to 7pm.

Funeral Mass on Monday morning in St. Fursey's Church, Haggardstown (A91XH75) at 11 o'clock followed by burial in adjoining cemetery.
