George Bury

The death has occurred of George Bury – Canal Court and formerly Railway Terrace, Mullingar – February 10, 2025 (peacefully) at the Midland Regional Hospital Mullingar and previously in the care of the staff at Newbrook Nursing Home.

Predeceased by his parents William and Margaret and brothers James and Harry.

George will be remembered by his family, nephew Trevor, nieces Sharon and Michele, extended family and by his very good friend Kathleen.

A gathering of family and friends will take place at Gilsenans Funeral Home, College Street, Mullingar N91 K660 on Tuesday April 1st at 2 pm followed by private cremation.

George’s ashes will be interred with his parents at Cornamagh Cemetery at a later date.
