George Callanan
George Callanan (Kilbrogan, Farranshone Terrace, Limerick and late James McMahon Builders Supplies and late Sarsfield Credit Union). July 6th 2024, peacefully in the excellent care of St. John’s Hospital after a short illness. Beloved husband of Deirdre. Sadly missed by his loving sister Anne, brother-in-law Dave, cousins Nellie and Michael Byrne, Dennis, Michael and Pat Callanan, Mike and Corrie Thorn, sister-in-law Deirdre O'Donoghue and her husband Anthony, nephews, nieces, extended family and friends. Predeceased by his sister Mary Rea and brother John.

Reposing at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Thomas Street on Tuesday evening (9th July) from 5pm to 6.30pm. Funeral arriving at St. Mary’s Church, Athlunkard Street, on Wednesday (10th July) for Requiem Mass at 1pm with burial afterwards in Dualla Cemetery, Co. Tipperary.
Family flowers only, donations, if desired, to Milford Care Centre.
