George Ernest Scott

Scott – 10th December 2025, peacefully in Cavan surrounded by his loving family.

George Ernest cherished husband of Susan (nee McGarry), dearly loved father of Su-Zann (Gary), Garry (Trisha), and Jonathan, brother of Carrie (Booth) and the late Samuel James and Florence (Simpson).

George will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his wife, daughter, sons, son- in- law, grandchildren Ethan, Mollie, Joseph, Emily, Lucy and Anna and Jaxon, sister Carrie, sisters in law nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours, friends and by all who knew and loved George.

Reposing at his home 48a Oaklea Road, Ballyronan (BT45 6HX) on Thursday 11th of December from 10am to 9pm. Removal from his home on Friday morning to St. Mary’s Church, Castlerahan, Ballyjamesduff, Co. Cavan (A82 YN44) arriving for requiem mass at 1pm with burial after in the adjoining cemetery.
