The death has occurred of
George Fenney
Fenney (Cork) on August 10th 2023, peacefully and with great dignity at Cork University Hospital; George, Lower Fairhill (formerly of Vicars Street) (late Sacristan North Cathedral). Beloved husband of Eileen (nee Gregory), loving father of Gerard, Christopher, Margaret and the late Mary and brother of Willie and the late Mickey, Paddy, John, May, Lily and Richie. Sadly missed by his loving wife, sons, daughter, grandchildren Katie, Laura and Luke, great-grandchildren Bobby and Tommy, brother, nephews, nieces, sons-in-law Sean and Darren, daughters-in-law Mary and Fiona, relatives and friends.
Visitation at O’Connor Bros. Funeral Home, North Gate Bridge on Sunday, 13th August, from 4pm-5pm with prayers at 4.45pm. Requiem Mass on Monday 14th August at 11am in the North Cathedral. George's Mass will be live streamed on the following link: https://www.corkcathedral.ie/live-stream/. Funeral afterwards to St. Catherine’s Cemetery, Kilcully.
