George F.J. Boyle

Peacefully but unexpectedly, under the attentive care of St. Vincent’s Hospital, after a short illness, bravely fought with positivity and determination. Beloved husband and best friend of his soulmate Thérèse, treasured Dad to Seán, Georgina, Bronwyn and Carolyn, adored Papa to Zoë and Siena and dear brother of the late Patricia, St. John and Terry. He will be greatly missed by his wife, family, sons-in-law Mikey, Leon and Matt, Sean’s partner Doireann, sisters-in-law Joan and Pat, relatives, neighbours, former colleagues, his many, many friends and all those he touched with his kindness, charm, humour, optimism, magic, wit and inspiration.

In accordance with current Government guidelines and in the hope of keeping our friends and family safe, George’s Funeral will take place privately on Thursday (25th March) at 11am but can be viewed online at https://www.churchservices.tv/cabinteely Family flowers only. Donations, in lieu, to the Irish Cancer Society at https://www.cancer.ie or ARC Cancer Support or St Vincent de Paul.
