George (Georgie) O'Callaghan

Margeo, Knockbarry, Buttevant, (President of Buttevant GAA and Micheal MacCarthaighs Juvenile GAA).

Georgie passed away peacefully in the presence of his loving wife and family and in the tender and loving care of the staff at Cork University Hospital (CUH) on Wednesday, August 16th, 2023. Beloved husband of Mary (née Fox) and much loved father of Cathal and Jenny (O'Keeffe). Sadly missed by his wife, family, sisters Catherine (Hennessy) and Eileen (O'Grady), brother-in-law Eamonn, daughter-in-law Mary T., son-in-law Chris, his adored grandchildren Oisín, Caoimhe and Cora, aunt Angela, uncle Tadgh, aunts-in-law, uncle-in-law, wonderful and kind neighbours and a large circle of friends.

May Georgie Rest in Peace

Reposing at his house in Margeo, Knockbarry, Buttevant (P51 DY77) on Friday evening from 6:00pm to 8:00pm followed by Prayers.

Reception into St. Mary's Church, Buttevant on Saturday afternoon for Requiem Mass at 2:30pm, after which Georgie be laid to rest in St. Brigid's Cemetery, Buttevant.
