The death has occurred of
George Harrington
HARRINGTON, Droum, Castletownbere, Beara, Co. Cork on the 27th September 2023 peacefully in the care of the staff in Bantry General Hospital, surrounded by his loving family, GEORGE. Deeply mourned by his nephews Michael, Kevin, Terence, Sean, Father Michael, Bill, Daniel, Joseph, Nigel and his nieces Katherine, Ann Marie and Tracey. Sadly missed by his cousins Margaret and Joanne, sister in laws, relatives, neighbours and his many friends. Predeceased by his brothers Patrick, Michael, John, Derry and Donnie and his nephew Stephen.
Reposing in Harringtons Funeral Home, Castletownbere on Sunday (1st) from 4pm to 6pm. Requiem mass will take place at 11am on Monday (2nd) in The Church of The Sacred Heart, Castletownbere followed by burial in Foildarrig Cemetery (Lower). Funeral cortège will leave the funeral home at approximately 10.30am. Link to view funeral mass below.
