George Holland

George Holland, Derrycanton, Mountrath, died October 12th, 2025, after a long illness bravely borne, in the exceptional care of the staff at Tallaght University Hospital, Dublin.

 

Beloved son of the late George and Mary.

 

Deeply regretted by his loving brothers and sisters Jim, John, Mary Parkinson, Sadie Farrell and Michael, nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law Michael and Denis, sisters-in-law Mary Jo, Elizabeth, and Marie, neighbours, relatives and his many friends.

 

Rest in Peace.

Reposing in Moloney’s Funeral Home, Mountmellick on Tuesday from 6.30pm.
Recital of The Rosary at 8pm. Funeral arriving St. Edmund's Church, Castletown on Wednesday for Requiem Mass at 2pm. Burial after in St. Fintans Cemetery, Mountrath.
