George Hunt

Hunt George (Retired Sergeant Major), 12th September 2022 (late of Windmill Road, Crumlin and formerly of UCD Services, Belfield – Earlsfort Terrace and the Irish Defence Forces) peacefully surrounded by his loving family, in the wonderful care of the staff of Sir Patrick Dun’s Ward, St. James’ Hospital; devoted husband and best friend of Mary and beloved dad of George, Paul, Elaine, Brian and Janet and pre-deceased by his loving sister Frances and brothers Jimmy and Freddie. Sadly missed by his loving wife, sons, daughters, daughters-in-law Marion, Fiona and Pauline, sons-in-law Bernard and Mark, grandchildren James, Adam, Alibhe, Darragh, Rian, Ava and Laoise, brothers Frankie and Martin, sister Margaret, sister-in-law Freda, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of friends especially those in the UCD Services and The Irish Defence Forces.

Reposing at the Brian McElroy Funeral Home, Crumlin Village on Thursday (15th September) from  5pm to 7pm. Funeral Mass on Friday (16th September) at 10am in St. Agnes’s Church, Crumlin Village and afterwards for burial in Newland's Cross Cemetery.
