George KEARNS

It is with great sadness that the death is announced of George Kearns (Castleknock, Co. Dublin, formerly of Corrigeenroe, Boyle, Co Roscommon and former Captain of Howth Golf Club) on 20 January 2024. Peacefully in the exceptional and gentle care of the staff of St. Francis Hospice. Surrounded by his family, after an illness borne with great courage and dignity.

Beloved husband of Mary (neé Madigan), dearest father to Robert and Alan. George will be sadly missed by his loving wife, sons, cherished grandchild Finn, daughters-in-law Chloe and Regan, brothers Michael and Willie, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, friends and neighbours.

Reposing at his home on Tuesday 23 January from 4pm to 8pm. Removal to the Church of Our Lady, Mother of the Church, Castleknock on Wednesday 24 January arriving for Requiem Mass at 11am. Followed by burial at Glasnevin Cemetery.
