George Lane

George Lane,

passed away peacefully on September 30th 2025 after a short illness,

surrounded by his loving family and in the tender loving care

of the doctors, nurses and staff of St Catherine's ward in Marymount Hospice.

A loving husband to the late Eleanor (Harding) and a brother to the late Anna and Godwin.

George was a devoted father to John and Thomas, an adored grandfather to Jake, Hope, Eirann, Evan, Rían, Joshua and Amber and a cherished

great-grandfather to Daisy and Teddy.

He will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by his family, sons, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers Pat and John , daughters-in-law Rita and Rachel, brother-in-law JohnJoe, sisters-in-law Mary, Margaret and Patricia, nephews, nieces, relatives and a wide circle of friends.

George will repose at his residence, Grandy, Mallow, Eircode P51AW26

on Thursday evening, October 2nd from 4pm to 7pm followed by removal to St Craebhnait's Church, Annakisha.

Requiem Mass on Friday, October 3rd at 11am.

Burial immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery alongside his wife Eleanor.
