The death has occurred of
George LEONARD
GEORGE LEONARD The Walk, Roscommon town and formerly of Fairview, Dublin and Monaghan town. March 1st, 2021; (Peacefully), in the devoted care of the staff at St Francis’ Hospice, Blanchardstown. Loving husband of Pauline and much loved Dad to Liana. He will be very sadly missed by his family, his brother Michael and Michael’s wife Penny, his niece Hannah, nephew Robert, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, extended family and friends.
Please note that in an effort to follow government guidelines and with the support and agreement of the family, George’s funeral will take place privately. His funeral cortege will depart from Smyth’s Funeral Home, Roscommon on Thursday morning at 10.30 o’c and arrive at the Sacred Heart Church, Roscommon for Mass of the Resurrection at 11 o’c. Burial afterwards in St Coman’s Cemetery. For those wishing to offer their sympathies, we suggest using the online condolence link below.
