George Matthews

Matthews. George, Sunrise: 17th August 1935. Sunset: 7th October 2025 (Ballyfermot Road, Ballyfermot and formerly of Aughavannagh Road, Drimnagh); peacefully with his beloved wife and best friend Bridget by his side, in the wonderful care of the staff in Nephin Nursing Home. George will be forever loved and very sadly missed by his heartbroken family, wife Bridget, children Paul, Linda, George, Ian, Thomas, Mark and the late Derek, he was an adored grandad to his twenty three grandchildren and great-grandad to his twenty great-grandchildren, very sadly missed by his daughters-in-law, son-in-law, brother, nieces, nephews, extended family, wide circle of friends and neighbours.

Reposing at his home on Thursday (9th October) from 5pm to 7pm. Funeral Mass will take place on Friday (10th October) at 11am in the Church of Our Lady of the Assumption, Ballyfermot, followed by burial in Palmerstown Cemetery.
