George Mc Govern

peacefully in the loving care of his devoted family and the wonderful medical and nursing staff of
St. Colmcille’s Nursing Home Kells
Sunday 13th July 2025

Predeceased by his parents Elizabeth and John, brothers and sisters Mick, Johnny, Pat, Frank, Sam, Molly, Betty, Dimp, Rosie and Aggie and is survived by his loving nephews, nieces, grand nephews, grand nieces cousins and the extended Mc Govern family and many dear friends.

George will repose at Muldoon Brothers Funeral Home Bective Square Kells on
Tuesday from 4-6pm.
Removal at 6.30 pm to arrive at St Colmcille's Church at 7pm for evening prayers.
Funeral Mass on Wednesday morning at 11am which can be viewed on kellsparish.ie
Burial afterwards in St Colmcille’s Cemetery.

George will be fondly remembered as a devoted Catholic, a gifted performer on stage in many musicals and plays in Kells over many years. A lifelong member of the Pioneer Association and a former employee of Navan Carpets.
His Generous And Colourful character will be greatly missed by his family and many friends.
