George McCullagh

The death has occurred of George McCullagh, Cabra, Kingscourt, Co. Cavan, A82 CF58, peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family, in his 98th year, Wednesday, 10th April, 2024. Predeceased by his wife Doreen and his sister Maisie. Deeply regretted by his loving family; sons Ian, Edwin and Barry and daughter Heather. George will be sadly missed by his daughters-in-law Iris, Heather and Alison, son-in-law Thomas, grandchildren Laura, Anna, Sam, John, Amy, Rachel, Sophie, Blake, Aaron and Amber, extended family and friends.

Reposing at his home on Friday, 12th April, from 4pm to 8pm. House private at all other times, please. Funeral Service on Saturday, 13th April, in St. Ernan's Church, Kingscourt, at 2pm with burial immediately afterwards in the adjoining graveyard. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu, if desired, to the Alzheimer Society of Ireland c/o Gilmore Funeral Directors or a family member.
