George Michael Long

It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of our father – George Michael Long (Raheny) 28th January 2026, in the tender care of Howth Hill Lodge Nursing Home. He was in his 98th year on this planet. He will be sadly missed by his children Brenda, Susan, John, Jennifer and Alan, sons-in-law Bernard, Brian and Brett, daughters-in-law Rona and Caren, his ten grandchildren Andrew, Daniel, David, Alyson, Hannah, Conor, Adam, Emily, Sophia and James, his great-granddaughter Julie, friends and neighbours. He will now be reunited with his beloved wife Marie and grandson Brendan.

 

May George rest in peace.

 

A funeral Mass will be held Tuesday at 12 noon at St John The Evangelist Church, Greendale Road, Raheny, Eircode D05W354, followed by burial in St Fintan’s Cemetery Sutton.
