With profound sorrow, we announce the sudden but peaceful passing of our cherished George, at his home. George, a devoted husband to the late Dolores and a beloved brother to the late Pat, has peacefully joined them in eternal rest.
A steadfast pillar of support for the GAA and the Dublin team, George's passion for the sport was evident in his unwavering attendance at both home and away games. His absence on Hill 16 will be deeply felt by his fellow Dublin supporters.
George leaves behind a legacy of love and fond memories. He will be dearly missed and forever remembered by his sisters-in-law Julie, Anne, Carmel, and Noeleen, brothers-in-law Sean, Dominic, and Noel, as well as his nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, dear friends Tommy and Marie, Liam and Lorraine and Martin and Brenda, neighbours - especially Ann and John, his compassionate carer Tom and his colleagues from Caremark, and all those whose lives he touched with his warmth and kindness.
In George's departure, we find solace in the memories he leaves behind and the love that will continue to surround us.
May he rest in peace.
