George passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family in the tender care of the staff at SignaCare, Ferrybank.

 

Predeceased by his daughter Helen Byrne, parents Edward and Catherine, brothers and sisters Paddy, Maisie, Hessie, Nellie, Patty, Delia, Eamonn, Kathleen and John.

 

George is deeply regretted by his loving wife Angela (née Condon), daughter Susan, sons David and Vincent, sons-in-law Alan Byrne and David Kelly, daughters-in-law Catherine and Jeanette, grandchildren Gavin, Ruairí, Valerie, Ciara, Eimear, Adam, Laura, Sean and Sarah, brother James, sister Phyllis O’Reilly, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives, friends and great neighbours.

Reposing at Thompson's Funeral Home, Barrack St, Waterford on Friday (24th October) from 7:00pm to 8:30pm with vigil prayers and Rosary at 8:00pm.

 

George’s funeral cortege will walk from his residence for Requiem Mass on arrival in St. Paul’s Church, Lisduggan on Saturday (25th October) at 10:00am followed by burial in the St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Tramore.

 

Mass will be livestreamed at 10:00am on Saturday by following the Funeral Service link below.
