George, passed away peacefully, in the presence of his family and in the exceptional care of the staff at Mercy University Hospital. Beloved husband of the late Rita (nee O’Mahony) and dear father of Pat, Jerry and Catherine (Leahy), brother of Maura Galvin (Adare), Jerry (Martinstown), Kathleen Shine (Newtownshandrum), Josie Tanna (Effin).
Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his family, cherished grandchildren Laura, Helen, Emma, Rachel, Frances, Lisa, Gavin, Gerard and Amy, great-grandchildren, daughters-in-law Angela and Ursula, son-in-law Mike, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, nephew, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.
Rest in peace.
George will repose at Ronayne’s Funeral Home Fermoy.
Visitation Wednesday from 6.00.pm. until 7.30.pm.
Reception into St. Catherine’s Church, Ballynoe, Thursday for Requiem Mass at 12 noon burial afterwards in Conna cemetery.
