The death has occurred of George Smith, Mount St. Joseph, Kingscourt, Co. Cavan and formerly of Drummond Cottages, Magheracloone, Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan, peacefully and surrounded by his loving family at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, 12th April, 2024.
Predeceased by his parents, Jack and Mary Jane and his brothers, Jimmy and Tommie. Deeply regretted by his sons Shane and Paul, his sisters, Violet and Mary, brothers, Eric and Richard (Jackie). Sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

George will repose at the home of his brother Richard, 3 Drummond Cottages, Magheracloone, (A81 EC92) on Monday afternoon from 2pm. George’s Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday at 2pm in St. Molua's Church, Magheracloone with burial afterwards in the adjoining graveyard.
