George Taaffe

George, formerly of Athy, Co.Kildare. (Former principal of Dromard National School), 26th January 2024, peacefully. Pre-deceased by his parents John and Kathleen and by his brothers Seamus and Jack. George will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his family, his beloved wife Eileen, daughters Paula Gorman (Maynooth) and Susan Keane (Lanesboro) , sons Barry (Glenfarne), Declan (Clane) and David (Australia), brothers Tony and Francis, daughters-in-law Oonagh, Lisa and Elaine, sons-in-law Kevin and Brendan, his beloved grandchildren Conor, Niall, Holly, Orla, Leon, Amy, Bella, Phoenix and Tara, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May he rest in peace.

Reposing at his residence (N39 K8H3) on Saturday 27th from 3.00pm until 5.00pm and again on Sunday 28th from 3.00pm until 5.00pm. Removal on Monday, 29th January, to arrive at St. Francis Xavier Church, Moyne for Mass of the Resurrection at 12 noon, interment afterwards in Legga Cemetery.
