George Valentine " Val " Byrne

Formally of Glencormac, Bray, Co. Wicklow.

Recently of Carnew Nursing Home, Carnew, Co. Wicklow.

Peacefully in his 90th year surrounded by family, at Wexford General Hospital. Val, beloved husband for 62 years to Anne who passed away on 26th October 2022 and father of Cathal, Katherine and Roland, and brother to his twin sister Terry. Very sadly missed by his children, their partners Mary, George and Avril, grandchildren Jenny, Cuan and Carra, his sister Terry his nephew and niece Michael and Orla, and his many wonderful friends and neighbours.

 

Special thanks to the most wonderful staff at St. Brigid's Ward in Wexford General Hospital and Carnew Nursing Home for their outstanding loving care.

 

May he fly high and soar free in the sky.

 

Service in memory of Val will take place in McCrea's Cremation Chapel , Dublin Road, Wicklow Town (A67E003) at 12.00 noon on this Saturday, 6th December for all those who wish to attend.
