George Vaugh

George Vaugh, Garbally, Birr and formerly of Ballycumber, Co. Offaly,passed away unexpectedly on November 12th, 2024. Predeceased by his late wife Hilda, he will be deeply missed by his loving wife Sylvia, his daughters Debbie and Sylvia; his sons Colin, Trevor, Kenneth and Winston; sons-in-law Jez and Robin; daughters-in-law; Finola, Mary, Carrie, and Monica and his eighteen cherished grandchildren. Also mourning his loss are his sisters; Violet, Rita, Lydia, Linda, and Sandra; his brothers; Willie, Sam, and Fred, as well as his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, and a large community of friends and neighbours.

Reposing at Boyd’s Funeral Home, Birr (R42 YF75) on Thursday evening from 5pm.-7pm. Removal on Friday to arrive at St. Paul’s Church of Ireland, Banagher at 1.45 pm. for Funeral Service at 2 o’clock, followed by burial in Clonoghill Cemetery, Birr.
