Georgie Whelan

Georgie Whelan, late of Shragh, Kilrush, Co. Clare, founder of Whelan Plant Sales Ltd., died suddenly on Monday 25th August, surrounded by his loving family at University Hospital Limerick.

Predeceased by his parents, Thomas and Susan and brother Tom. Sadly missed by his loving wife Ann, sons Alan and George, daughters Aisling and Suzanne, sons-in-law Gerry and Joe, George's partner Aoife, his adored grandchildren Tommy and Anna, his brothers Jackie, Paddy, Joe, Michael, Paul, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews, relatives, extended family, neighbours and friends and colleagues in Whelan Plant Sales.

Reposing at The Church of Our Lady Assumed into Heaven, Doonbeg (Eircode V15A895) on Wednesday 27th August from 5pm with prayers at 8pm. Funeral Mass on Thursday at 11am followed by burial afterwards in Doonmore Cemetery.

Whelan Plant Sales Ltd will be closed from Monday 25th August and will reopen on Monday 1st September.
