Ger Whelan, 1 Slaney House, Tullow and formerly Hillbrook Estate, Tullow, Co. Carlow – 16th January 2026 peacefully at St. Luke’s Hospital Kilkenny; predeceased by his family Martin, Billy and Helen.

 

Sadly missed by his brothers Joe and Philip, sisters-in-law Nora and Ester, nieces, nephews and many close friends.

Reposing at Halligan’s Funeral Home, Barrack Street, Tullow (Eircode R93 TX99) on Tuesday afternoon from 3pm concluding at 7pm. Funeral arriving to The Church of The Most Holy Rosary, Tullow on Wednesday for 11am Requiem Mass after which he will be laid to rest in Kilquiggan Cemetery.

 

Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to Tullow Day Care Centre.
