Gerald (Gerry) Hannon

Hannon, Gerald (Gerry) - 9th April 2026 (Malahide). We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Gerry, peacefully in the compassionate care of the ICU team in St.James Hospital. Son of the late Joan and Patrick. Beloved husband of Mary, much loved brother to Marie, Betty and Frances and brother-in-law to Nigel and the late Terry and Joe.

 

Gerry will always be cherished and remembered by his children Aoife, Cormac and Sinead, sons-in-law Fergus and Ronan and daughter-in-law Rachel, his seven devoted grandchildren, Evanne, Carrie, Lanna, Fiadh, Ailbe, Ella and Finn who he adored and by whom he was adored. Also sadly missed by his nieces and nephews, extended family, amazing neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Staffords Funeral Home, Golf Links Road, Portmarnock Wednesday afternoon 15th April from 2pm to 4:30pm. Removal on Thursday morning to the Church of St. Sylvester's, arriving for Funeral Mass at 10am followed by cremation in Dardistown.
