Gerald (Gerry) Molloy

In the early hours of Friday, March 7, 2025 Gerald (Gerry) completed his life’s journey peacefully at home, surrounded by his beloved family, having recently celebrated his 90th birthday in some style. Dearly beloved husband of the late Mary (née O’Shea), predeceased also by his parents, Rita and Michael, his sisters Jennifer and Marie, and his brother Robby, his son-in-law Dáithí O’Connor, and nephew David Cunningham.

Dearly loved by his children, Hilary, Gary, Mary, Martha, Claire, Laura and Raymond. Darling Gerry to his beloved grandchildren, his much loved sisters and brother Pat, Adrienne and Margot and Michael, beloved sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, nieces and nephews and his many friends and neighbours.

Funeral Arrangements

Sunday, March 9, 2025. Reposing at the O’Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue (H91V1K8) from 5 p.m. to 6.30 p.m.

Monday, March 10, 2025. Leaving on his final journey from his home on Threadneedle Road to arrive at the Church of Christ the King, Salthill in advance of Requiem Mass therein at 11 a.m. Following Mass, he will be laid to rest with Mary in Rahoon cemetery.
